Immersive co-living experience in a peer-led collaborative environment
Smena Station is a skill-share co-living for digital nomads. Our main goal is to create meaningful experiences. In less than six months we grew from one to five locations because we are not a business – we are a community. A community without borders that consists of professionals that do not tie themselves to one place. Rule breakers, mavericks, straight-A students that skip classes, discoverers that are always ready to set sails and live several lives instead of one.

Our next level co-living and co-working experience is for you if

YOU
Have a project that you are proud of and want to develop it
Dream of an idea that's been laying on the shelf far too long
Work remotely or want to learn how
Understand the value of the right people around you
Believe that knowledge must be shared
Ready to give before asking anything in return
Search for a life/work balance and ways to travel the world
Want to emerge into community of innovators and trendsetters
Imagine not only reaching your goals but setting new ones

Smena Station is not for profit. It's a common effort of each member of our community. We combine our resources and raising the quality of life of each one of us. The budget of Smena in California will be clear and available for everyone.
We have also adopted Ten Principles of Burning Man, a project that inspired Smena and made it real.

Where will I live?
Our Station will be located in a spacious house in Southern California. Walking distance from the ocean and close to surfing spots.

Each room is shared with another member (of same gender) as we believe that it creates a great bonding experience for everyone and allows us to make the station affordable. There are multiple common areas for work and leisure and fast and stable Wi-Fi.

A fair share of each member will be ~$450/two weeks.
Who else is going?
There are 8 members and 2 administrators at the station. We personally interview each and every participant. Most of us are between 25-35 y.o, working remotely or running their own business. All of us are "givers" and people who are conscious about their actions. You can learn more about some of the members of our community here.
What will I do?
The framework of Smena that has been shaped during numerous sessions worldwide creates a unique vibe on the border of co-living, co-working and a summer camp for adults.

Here's an example of daily schedule from one of our previous Stations:
07.07 – morning yoga by Anastasia
08.45 – breakfast together
09.15 – members working on their own projects at the Station or in a café nearby
12.00 – "Fighting procrastination while working remotely" a workshop by Paul S.
13.00 – free time (for work or leisure)
18.00 – sunset surf session
19.30 – communal dinner
21.30 – Movie Night: Labyrinth (1986)

Smena Stations in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malta, Russia and Montenegro have already united more than 300 digital nomads into a strong community.
